Another week and another Seawind is launched in Sydney in time for the Sydney International Boat Show. This time its a new Seawind 1160 Resort ‘Tiger 3’ owned by Andrew Dent and skipper Gavin Hottess as part of their growing Tiger Catamarans fleet on Sydney Harbour.
Tiger 3 is a brand new Seawind 1160 Resort charter boat that will carry up to 43 passengers ad 2 crew all around Sydney Harbour’s beautiful bays and beaches. Due to its unique 1D classification, it can travel on partially smooth waters which allows access to Manly which most charter boats cannot reach.
Andrew also owns a Seawind 1050 Resort “Tiger 2” catamaran, an earlier predecessor to the 1160 Resort that has been a remarkable proof of concept of a day charter design in Australia. With the two boats now in the Tiger Catamaran Charter fleet, they can take 70 passengers between the two boats customers out on Sydney Harbour which is a pretty impressive capacity for two the level of investment which can both be managed by skippers with just a Coxswains ticket.
Tiger 3 will be on display at the Sydney Boat Show on Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th of August (only).
