Introducing the brand new Seawind 1170
The incredible success of the Seawind 1370 has inspired Seawind to design a smaller version around 40 feet that carries similar styling lines to the 1370 and new modern hull shape, but with an interior layout more akin to their super popular Seawind 1260 that optimise space providing incredible value and comfort for live aboard cruisers.
Built to Sail
The Seawind 1170 is set up with a longeron beam standard with optional stayless carbon bowsprit. This allows you to run a self taking jib or genoa from the forestay, furling screecher from the longeron beam and spinnaker off the bowsprit. Plus a square top mainsail.
The hull shape features chines on the inboard and outboard hulls, providing both reserve buoyancy, interior space, yet keeping the hull shape efficient. The raked bows keep bouyuance forward while the new flat decks make walking the fore deck easier and converts to more internal volume, most noticeably in the forward cabins.
