With now four Corsair 880s in the water and a further two due in May/July this year we are getting great feedback on the boats performance with owners commenting on the boats sailabilty and ease of sailing – even solo sailing is very manageable with the use of the autopilot to steer the boat whilst they set sails. The latest 880 was commissioned in Brisbane and then trailered to the Whitsundays (1200km) – this is what they are designed to be doing – being able to trailer the boat to exciting destinations is great for time poor (and who isn’t time poor these days?) owners which means that they can enjoy beautiful destinations that would take weeks to sail to and without the expense of a large boat.
Not to be outdone, the Corsair 760 and 760R are also enjoying complimentary feedback from owners, one has taken his 760 to Tasmania on the car ferry and is doing a 3 month tour of the exciting Tasmania waterways, another is enjoying getting involved in weekly club racing in Adelaide whilst the 760R that we used to win the recent Lock Crowther Multihull Regatta is now sailing and club racing on the beautiful Port Stephens waterways.
The Multihull Central’s Brent and Michael are club racing in Cronulla with pretty good success rates and Brent says the twilights are his stress relief from the busy life of being a company owner whilst Michael says it is the best retirement activity around, excitement, fresh air, beautiful waterways, great company and competitive – hard to beat at any age!
So if you are: time poor, retired, stressed but looking for some adventure – where are you ? Call us for a test sail or just to have a chat about getting into one of these versatile boats as all models are available on very short lead times.
