Moreton Bay Seawind Owners Regatta 2026

Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS), Manly, QLD

 

The event will be open to all classes of Seawind Catamarans and Corsair Trimarans. It will be rally format sailing on Southern Moreton Bay from Friday 30th October till
Sunday 1st November.

Starting from the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS), participants will enjoy a scenic sail across Moreton Bay with overnight stops in some of the region’s most popular cruising destinations.

Event Itinerary

Friday, 30 October

• Friday PM – Arrive RQYS Manly (berthing will be arranged for vessels not already
  berthed in Manly Boat Harbour or Aquatic Paradise).
• Friday PM – 5.30pm “Meet and Greet”, drinks and platters provided, RQYS Flags
  Function Room.
• 7pm Rally Briefing in RQYS Auditorium.
• 8pm Dinner (make your own arrangements) at RQYS Manly.

Saturday, 31 October

• 10.00am start WAGS style sail to Horseshoe Bay Peel Island for lunch.
• 2.00pm second WAGS style sail to RQYS Canaipa, there to anchor overnight.
• 6.00pm catered Dinner ashore RQYS Canaipa Long House with results and prizes.

Sunday, 1 November

• 8.00am catered Breakfast ashore in RQYS Canaipa Long House.
• 10.00am cruise in company sail to an appropriate location (weather dependent) or
  your home port

This is a fund-raising event for SAILABILITY.
