155 people packed the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on December 17th to have lunch with Sailing La Vagabonde couple and YouTube sensations, Riley and Elayna as they shared their story of adventure of sailing the world followed by the introduction of the new ‘Sailing La Vagabonde Syndicate’.
Inspired by Sailing La Vagabonde’s recent upgrade to a new Outremer 45 catamaran that they plan to eventually sail to the South Pacific, Outremer’s exclusive Australian distributors in partnership with Yachtshare have packaged a brand new Outremer 45 with an extensive array of options suitable for blue cruising at a fraction of the cost of an outright boat with a full management support program.
For just $135,000 per 1/10th share, Sailing La Vagabonde Syndicate owners will enjoy more than a month a year onboard their new Outremer 45 that will be based in Manly Brisbane with plans to cruise the East Coast of Australia and the islands of the South Pacific. Owners will also have the opportunity to enjoy some time sailing on the Mediterranean Sea before the boat is shipped from France, where it is built, to Manly, Brisbane.
“This is the first of a kind Syndicate designed for those aspiring to sample the cruising life beyond Australian waters,” Managing Director of Multihull Central, Brent Vaughan said, “To get into a performance cruising catamaran of this caliber for the price offers incredible value and a rare opportunity.”
“We are always looking for ways to help people enter a cruising adventure earlier in life and not have to take enormous risks to do so, and I think this is a great option.”
Yacht Share provides full management and support services to help owners new to sailing gain the necessary experience and training, without the fuss of maintenance and upkeep and have a well established fleet of yachts under their management in Brisbane.
