Multihull Central has again brought together a large display for the Sydney International Boat Show from 1-5th August at Darling Harbour, including two new Seawind sailing catamarans and two new Aquila power catamarans.
Heading the Seawind fleet is the award-winning 41ft Seawind 1260. In December last year, the highly read and respected ‘Cruising World Magazine’ of the USA named the Australian designed Seawind 1260 as the ‘Best Cruising Catamaran Under 50 feet’ up against the largest boat builders in the world.
Alongside the Seawind 1260 will be a new 38ft Seawind 1160 featuring new attractive timber interior. This boat has full commercial survey compliance to allow owners Dave and father Ray to operate charters on Sydney Harbour for up to 28 passengers.
There will be also a brand new Aquila 44 on display, the first to call Sydney its home port. This boat is hull #80 showing the popularity of this model thanks to key features including its large master cabin and various entertaining spaces.
The Aquila 36 Sports model will also be on display featuring twin 250hp Mercury Outboards and a versatile layout for entertaining, accommodation for a weekend holiday home, and superb bridge deck clearance and hull shape for coastal and offshore expeditions. The demonstration Aquila 36 Sports displayed at the boat show is available for immediate delivery.
Both the Aquila 44 and Aquila 36 are available in survey compliance and investors are being sought for Sydney Harbour charter operations with full management services offered. These services are offered by Multihull Central’s sister company, Charter Boat Central which will also be managing and providing charters on Seawinds this summer. Charter Boat Central offer premium packages for private charters, on the water training, and crewing onboard at regattas including Hamilton Island Race Week and Seawind’s Pittwater Regatta.
