Description | Features
The Outremer 51, here in V2 version, perfectly embodies this philosophy. Designed by Barreau Neuman, it offers exceptional marine qualities, proven safety in challenging navigation, and a rare balance between performance and comfort. Its protected cockpit, a true center of life at sea, allows for safe navigation regardless of conditions, while its remarkable payload for a catamaran of this category makes it an ideal companion for long journeys without compromise. Chosen by renowned sailors like Mike Golding, the 51 is an obvious choice for those looking to go far, fast, and for a long time.
Blue Pearl is not just a boat; it’s already a story. After its first sails in the Mediterranean, it set off towards the Atlantic, crossing the pillars of Hercules to reach the trade winds, before crossing to the Caribbean. From there, heading south, then the legendary passage through the Panama Canal, the gateway to the Pacific. This was followed by island-hopping in some of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world, until reaching the crystal-clear waters of Fiji. This journey, made up of long crossings and exceptional anchorages, fully illustrates the boat’s DNA: reliable, fast, and designed to turn every mile into pleasure. And above all, it hints at all that remains to be written.
Blue Pearl benefits from a particularly advanced level of equipment, designed for autonomy and performance. Its 2023 Incidence Hydranet sail set, including a genoa, ensures power and durability. The rigging includes four electric winches complemented by two manual winches, providing comfort and efficiency in maneuvering. The technical platform is reinforced by a composite forward cross with installation allowing for the rigging of a staysail, as well as carbon bulkheads contributing to the rigidity and lightness of the whole.
By becoming the owner of Blue Pearl, you also benefit from the complete support of Grand Large Services. From preparing the boat for your program, to refit operations, through offshore sailing training and handover, to organizing guided rallies across the oceans, everything is designed to allow you to set off far, with confidence and safety. This unique support naturally extends the Outremer experience and makes all the difference in the success of a long-distance cruising project.
Available now in Fiji, Blue Pearl is offered at a price of €925,000 excluding VAT. The boat is currently subject to an ongoing lease, offering interesting financial optimization prospects depending on your project. A rare opportunity to acquire an Outremer 51 ready to sail, in the heart of the Pacific, and to immediately resume the thread of an already exceptional adventure.

“Many thanks to Jason Brosnahan at Multihull Central in Opua New Zealand. Because of Covid lockdowns I pretty much had to purchase Emocean sight unseen in New Zealand and then have her transported to Australia. Jason made what could have been a very stressful experience a whole lot easier by putting me in touch with the right people and by providing many hours of honest, professional and enthusiastic support.
A big thanks as well to Chris Henry at Multihull Central in Australia who assisted us in getting both into and out of Brisbane Harbour. My only regret is that I was unable to share with Jason the bottle of French Champagne that I found in the fridge. Regards Andrew Bateman”

I recently took delivery of my beautiful new Seawind 1260 “Pirate Pete” in Brisbane before sailing it up to the Whitsundays for charter. I couldn’t have done it without the help of the incomparable sail master “Brett Hodder” from Multihull Central who guided us through the passage and taught us the ropes (I mean sheets). The boat itself sailed effortlessly through the ocean day and night with its crew in total comfort. I couldn’t be happier with the boat and service from Multihull Central and would recommend a Seawind 1260 to anyone wanting a true sailing boat that doesn’t compromise on comfort or sailability, combining these 2 key elements in the ultimate package. “Pirate Pete” is now available for bareboat charter in the Whitsundays through “Cumberland Charter Yachts” if you’d like to “try before you buy” and will also be available on Sydney Harbour from December to March through “Charterboat Central”. Thanks again and big thumbs up to Multihull Central.

In July 2016 I received my new Seawind 1160 Lite. The team at Multihull Central did an impressive job in preparing the catamaran for the handover. It was in all parts ready to set sail and beautifully prepared for us. The introduction was extremely competent and the handing over was very enjoyable and a great experience. The few minor issues that emerged were immediately resolved as they became visible. The professional and highly experienced handing over contributed greatly to the pleasure we have been getting from sailing our new Seawind catamaran.

Seawind 1160 Resort: First in Sydney Harbour! After some initial challenges with the delivery date of our Seawind 1160 Resort, we finally received delivery on November 21st 2016. The commissioning team at Multihull Central couldn’t have worked harder for us to make sure we made our charter deadlines for December 1st. Considering the boat only arrived at Multihull Central on November 23rd, it was amazing to have it up and running for charter on December 2nd 2016. Thank you Brent, Christine & John for all your help!

To Brent and the team, I wanted to thank you for your assistance with selling my Outremer 51. I’m glad we had you as a trusted agent to work with. I was shocked at how quickly we sold and delighted with the result, in fact I struggle to imagine a better outcome.
